Account Manager. Printing Industry
Weekly call cycle for the following week to be completed and sent to Line Manager every Friday afternoon.
To develop and deliver a professional brief taken from customers to the Estimating team within the relevant time frames.
Customer contact reports to be completed after each customer visit and sent through to Line Manager by close of business that day.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports of competitor activity, new innovations and other market relat6ed activities.
Current prospecting customer list to be contacted weekly via mail/phone and included in weekly customer report which must be handed in every Friday afternoon.
Preparation completed for weekly status meeting with Line Manager.
Current customer base to be serviced on a weekly/bi-weekly basis, contact reports completed and distributed.
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, establishes new accounts, by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Submits orders by referring to estimator price lists and product literature.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
Recommends changes in products, service and policy by evaluation results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management.
Provides historical records by maintaining same on area and customer sales.
To fulfil the requirements of a Sales Professional at all times with high levels of empathy, courtesy, high work ethic/morals, and client service excellence as befitting the requirements of this position.
Close lines of communication to both Kline Manager and the key contact points at the Durban factory.
