How is Decaf Coffee made?
The Swiss Water Process, doesn’t involve chemicals. In this method, the unroasted coffee beans are soaked in hot water, which removes their caffeine. Then, the caffeinated water passes through a carbon filter that captures the caffeine so the water can be used to wash the next batch of beans.
