Pinetown, Durban: SENIOR CREDIT RISK ADVISOR
Job Purpose: Minimise customer risk by gathering, analysing and sharing all relevant market, risk, debtor and financial information to identify possible risks to customer and suggesting mitigating actions.
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presented and professional male (aged ±24-45 years)
-Fully bilingual with excellent English proficiency
-Confident communicator and comfortable engaging with business owners and financial decision makers
-Matric
-Financial/Legal Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma and/or FSCA-approved qualification preferred
-Minimum 5 years’ recent experience as a Credit Risk Manager or Advisor essential
-2 to 5 years experience in business banking ideal
-Able to do basic level assessments to advise on risk profile and highlight related strengths and weaknesses
-Problem solving & conflict handling skills, attention to detail
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Driver’s license and own vehicle required
-Computer literate
-Stable employment record and contactable references
-Residing in/near Durban (within daily commuting distance from Durban
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Full Credit Risk Advisory management duties
-Visit stakeholder to ensure business continuity and up to date information (Debtors, Attorneys, Insurers, marketing-, Business Rescue- & Liquidation Meetings etc.) (Client-facing role)
-Develop possible solutions to minimise client risk based on risk category.
-Management of all aspects of client’s account and monitoring account to ensure quality of service provided
-Manage and report on Debt Recovery Files
-Policy management and claims handling
Salary: R 35 000.00 - R 45 000.00 gross (Depending on relevant experience and qualifications)
