Our client who are leaders in the clearing and forwarding industry are currently looking for the services of an Export controller to join their Durban Branch.
The job requirements are as follows
matric certificate ( grade 12)
min 2 years experience as a clerk in clearing and forwarding
a superior level of english and numeracy is essential
must have experience in framing export bills of entries
knowledge of the customs and excise act, rules and regulations, harmonized tarrif and EDI systems are essential.
valid code 08 drivers licence.
Job objective
Liaising with clients and service providers
Frame clearance on compu clear/ easy clear covering export bills of entry
obtain releases from shipping lines
reconcile supplier invoices to ensure correctly charged
invoice files
