•Explain and apply the principles of counseling.
•Understand the promotion and protection of children’s rights.
•Apply telephone counselling skills directed at children and adults with issues of concern related to children.
•Respond to issues affecting children.
•Develop a self awareness and utilize their skills to make a worthwhile contribution to their community.
In addition Childline KwaZulu Natal will offer 180 hour practical placement at our 24/7 Crisis Helpline.
