PYC has two main sites with venues...equally unique and equally stunning within their own way!

PYC’s beach site is located at the Vetch’s Pier beach. The clubhouse has several facilities making it an attractive venue and includes safe parking (and security), a large entertainment hall. This informal venue enjoys being dressed up in whatever the occasion calls for and apart from being spacious and adaptable, it has the stunning pond known as the Indian Ocean right on its doorstop. Wow!

The Quarterdeck and The Islander Room are situated on the top level of the PYC main club-house (situated at the Durban yacht mole, off the Esplanade) and can accommodate seating for larger groups in conference format or at stylish round tables. The venues share a spectacular view of the Durban Marina from the deck that extends over the yacht club garden, making PYC the perfect option for event organisers wanting to add a special dimension to a wedding, conference, seminar, training session, meeting, party (birthday, or any other celebration), fashion show, exhibition, product launch or a formal dinner. (electronic equipment is also available...from a data projector to sound system!) Of course, this site also has safe secure parking and security.

So, whether your style is drinking champagne on a yacht or saying vows with your toes in the sand, Point Yacht Club has the ideal venue (and extras) for any special occasion or function.
